Holy Family Parish

Dear Friends,

The first Sunday of Lent is upon us. It is the traditional day for the Rite of Election at St. Columba Cathedral at 1:30. At the 10:00 a.m. Mass here at Holy Family we celebrate the Rite of Sending for our Catechumens and Candidates with their sponsors. Congratulations and prayers as they prepare for their full initiation into Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, 8:00 p.m. on April 11.

All parishioners are invited to our Lenten enrichment series which is held on Thursday evenings beginning with 6:00 Mass followed by a simple supper of soup, then the video and discussion. The video series is entitled THE EUCHARIST IN SCRIPTURE. Dr. Scott Hahn from the University of Steubenville is the video speaker. This event takes place in the Parish Center every Thursday of Lent until Holy Thursday.
